Yesterday the American indices rose significantly. Today all three of them are going down, though. What can they do next? Let’s try to answer that question in an analysis, S&P 500 first:

S&P 500

The S&P 500 rose significantly yesterday. The price finished the session above the R1 resistance level, slightly above 3850. However, it is going down today. Right now the bulls are trying to defend the Pivot Point. If they do it successfully, the price might return above 3850. But if they fail, the price could even drop below 3810.

NASDAQ 100

NASDAQ 100 also rose significantly yesterday. The price finished the session at the R1 resistance level, slightly above 11580. However, it is going down today. Right now the bulls are trying to defend 11500. If they do it successfully, the price might return above the Pivot Point and 11550. But if they fail, the price could even drop below 11400 and reach the S1 support level.

Dow Jones Industrial Average

The DJIA index rose significantly yesterday as well. The price finished the session above the R1 resistance level, slightly below 31900. However, it is going down today. If the buyers don’t generate some serious appetite soon, the price could drop below the Pivot Point and reach 31600. But if they do, the price might rise above 31900.
