On Friday the American indices performed differently. The S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average went down and the NASDAQ 100 showed mixed sentiment. Today all three of them are falling even more. What can they do next? Let’s try to answer that question in an analysis, S&P 500 first:

S&P 500

The S&P 500 dropped significantly on Friday. The price finished the last session of the week below the S1 support level and 4610. Today it is falling even more. The price is already below today’s S2 and 4540. If the buyers don’t generate some serious appetite soon, the price could go down below 4520 today. But if they do, the price might return above today’s S1.

SP 500

NASDAQ 100

NASDAQ 100 showed mixed sentiment yesterday. The price finished the last session of the week at 15780. However, it is falling heavily today. Right now the price is below the S1 support level, near 15520. If the buyers don’t generate some serious appetite, the price could drop below today’s S2 and 15450. But if they do, the price might reach the Pivot Point.

NASDAQ 100

Dow Jones Industrial Average

The DJIA index was the weakest one on Friday. The price dropped heavily and finished the session significantly below the S1 support level, near 35300. Today, it is going down even more. Right now the bulls are trying to defend today’s S2 and 34700. If they do it successfully, the price might rise above today’s S1 and 35000. But if they fail, the price could fall below 34500 today.
