Yesterday the American indices rose strongly. Today, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is rising, but the S&P 500 and the NASDAQ 100 are showing mixed sentiment. What can they do next? Let’s try to answer that question in an analysis, S&P 500 first:
S&P 500
Yesterday was a great bullish session. After rising strongly all day, the S&P 500 finished the session high above the R1 resistance level, slightly below 4560. During today’s Asian trading session, the price went up above 4565. Then, in the morning, it started falling. If the buyers don’t generate some serious appetite soon, the price could drop below 4550 and reach the Pivot Point today. But if they do, the price might even reach 4570.
NASDAQ 100
NASDAQ 100 also was very strong yesterday. First, the price rose above the R1 resistance level and 15700. Then, in the evening, it went down a bit. In consequence, the price finished the session slightly below the R1 and 15680.
During today’s Asian trading session, the NASDAQ 100 managed to rise above 15710. Then, in the morning, it started falling. If the buyers don’t generate some serious appetite soon, the price could drop below the Pivot Point and even reach 15600. But if they do, the price might return above 15700.
Dow Jones Industrial Average
The DJIA index was really strong yesterday as well. After rising significantly all day, the price finished the session high above the R2 resistance level, slightly below 35300. During today’s Asian trading session, it managed to rise above 35340. Then, in the morning, the price started falling a bit. If the buyers don’t generate some serious appetite soon, the price could drop to 35200 today. But if they do, the price might even reach 35400.
