Yesterday the American indices went down. Today all three of them are falling even more. What can they do next? Let’s try to answer that question in an analysis, S&P 500 first:
S&P 500
Yesterday was a really interesting session. First, the S&P 500 dropped below the S1 support level and 4555. Then, in the afternoon, it started rising. In consequence, the price finished the session slightly above 4570, a little below the S1.
During today’s Asian trading session, the S&P 500 dropped below 4560. Then, at the beginning of the European trading session, it started rising slowly. If the buyers continue generating sufficient demand, the price might go up above the Pivot Point and even reach 4580 today. But if the bears counterattack, the price could fall below 4550 and reach today’s S1.
NASDAQ 100
NASDAQ 100 also was really volatile yesterday. First, the price dropped below the S2 support level and reached 15720. Then, in the afternoon, it started rising. In consequence, the price finished the session slightly above 15850.
During today’s Asian trading session, the NASDAQ 100 reached 15760. Then, at the beginning of the European trading session, it started rising slowly. If the buyers continue generating sufficient demand, the price might go up above the Pivot Point and even reach 15900. But if the bears counterattack, the price could fall below 15720 and reach today’s S1.
Dow Jones Industrial Average
The DJIA index was really volatile yesterday as well. First, the price dropped below 36100. Then, at the beginning of the American trading session, it started rising. In consequence, the price finished the session a little below 36250.
During today’s Asian trading session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped below the Pivot Point and 36170. Then, at the beginning of the European trading session, it started rising slowly. If the buyers continue generating sufficient demand, the price might go up above 36300 and even reach today’s R1 resistance level. But if the bears counterattack, the price could fall to 36100 and today’s S1 support level.
