Yesterday, the American indices performed differently. The S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial average rose significantly and the volatility was very high. NASDAQ 100 showed mixed sentiment, though. During today’s Asian trading session, all three of them went up strongly. What can they do next? Let’s try to answer that question in an analysis, S&P 500 first:

S&P 500

That was a very interesting and volatile session yesterday. First, the S&P 500 dropped deeply and tested the S2 support level. Then, in the afternoon, it rose strongly and finished the day above the EMA 200. Today the price is still rising. If the buyers continue generating firm demand, the price might reach the R1 resistance level today. But if the bears counterattack, the price could fall to the Pivot Point.

NASDAQ 100

NASDAQ 100 was the weakest and least volatile one yesterday. First the price dropped to the S1 support level. Then, in the late afternoon, it managed to rise a bit and finished the day exactly at the same price as it started. During the Asian trading session, the price significantly went up, but this morning it started going down. If the buyers don’t generate serious appetite one more time soon, the price could fall to the S1 today. But if they do, the price might rise above the R1 resistance level and the EMA 200.

Dow Jones Industrial Average

The DJIA index was also very volatile yesterday. First, the price dropped deeply and tested the S2 support level. Then, in the afternoon, it rose strongly and finished the day above the EMA 200. Today the price is still rising. If the buyers continue generating firm demand, the price might reach 32700 today. But if the bears counterattack, the price could fall below the EMA 200.
