On Friday the American indices performed differently. The S&P 500 and the NASDAQ 100 went down, but the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose significantly. Today all three of them are falling significantly, though. What can they do next? Let’s try to answer that question in an analysis, S&P 500 first:
S&P 500
The S&P 500 went down on Friday. The price finished the last session of the week slightly above the S2 support level and 4030. Today it is falling even more. The price is already below today’s S2. If the buyers don’t generate some serious appetite soon, the price could drop below 4000. But if they do, the price might return above today’s S2 and the EMA 200.
NASDAQ 100
NASDAQ 100 was the weakest one on Friday. The price dropped heavily and finished the last session of the week slightly below the S3 support level, a little above 11780. Today it is falling even more. The price is already below today’s S1. If the buyers don’t generate some serious appetite soon, the price could drop below today’s S2 and reach 11650. But if they do, the price might return above today’s S1 and reach 11750.
Dow Jones Industrial Average
The DJIA index was the strongest one on Friday. The price rose significantly and finished the last session of the week slightly above the R2 resistance level, a little below 34380. However, it is going down today. The price is already below the S1 support level. If the buyers don’t generate some serious appetite soon, the price could drop below today’s S2 and reach the EMA 200. But if they do, the price might return above today’s S1 and reach 34300.
