Yesterday the American indices rose strongly. Today all three of them are going up even more. From the data front, the U.S. Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) minutes from the last meeting will be published. Anyway, let’s start the analysis, S&P 500 first:

S&P 500

Yesterday was a strong bullish session. First, the S&P 500 reached 4380. Then, in the morning, the price started falling. It even reached 4365 in the early afternoon. After that, the price started rising significantly. It even went up above the R1 resistance level and 4410 in the late afternoon. Right after that, the price started falling once again, though. In consequence, the S&P 500 finished the session slightly below the R1, at 4390.

Today, the price is rising even more. If the buyers continue generating sufficient demand, the S&P 500 might even reach today’s R1. But if the bears counterattack, the price could drop to 4380 today.

NASDAQ 100

NASDAQ 100 was also really strong yesterday. First, during the early hours of the Asian trading session, the price managed to rise above 15230. Then, it started falling. The price even dropped below 15180 in the early afternoon. After that, it started rising strongly. The price even went up above 15380 and reached the R2 resistance level two hours after the start of the American trading session. Right after that, it started falling once again, though. In consequence, the NASDAQ 100 finished the day a little above 15280.

Today, the price is rising even more. If the buyers continue generating sufficient demand, the NASDAQ 100 might even reach today’s R1. But if the bears counterattack, the price could drop to 15200 today.

Dow Jones Industrial Average

The DJIA index was really strong yesterday as well. First, during the early hours of the Asian trading session, the price managed to rise above 33850. Then, it started falling. The price even dropped below 33780. After that, in the morning, it started rising once again. The price even went up above the R1 resistance level and reached 34090 in the late afternoon. Right after that, it started falling one more time, though. In consequence, the Dow Jones Industrial Average finished the day at 33930.

Today, the price is rising even more. If the buyers continue generating sufficient demand, the Dow Jones Industrial Average might even reach today’s R1. But if the bears counterattack, the price could drop to 33800.
