Yesterday the American indices performed differently. The NASDAQ 100 managed to rise, the Dow Jones Industrial Average went down and the S&P 500 showed mixed sentiment. Today all three of them are rising, though. From the data front, the ADP nonfarm employment change in November will be published. Anyway, let’s start the analysis, S&P 500 first:

S&P 500

Yesterday was a really interesting session. First, the S&P 500 dropped below 4560. Then, at the beginning of the American trading session, the price started rising. Two hours later, it even went up above the Pivot Point and reached 4585. After that, the price started falling once again, though. In consequence, the S&P 500 finished the session slightly above the EMA 200 and 4570.

During today’s Asian trading session, the price rose above today’s R1 resistance level and reached 4590. Then, in the morning, it started falling. If the buyers don’t generate some serious appetite soon, the price could drop below 4580 and reach the EMA 200 today. But if they do, the price might rise above 4590.

NASDAQ 100

NASDAQ 100 also was really volatile yesterday. First, during the Asian trading session, the price reached 15760. Then, at the beginning of the European trading session, it started rising. The price even went up above the EMA 200 and reached 15960 in the afternoon. After that, it started falling once again, though. In consequence, the NASDAQ 100 finished the session at 15900.

During today’s Asian trading session, the price rose above 15980. Then, in the morning, it started falling. If the buyers don’t generate some serious appetite soon, the price could drop below the EMA 200 and reach 15910 today. But if they do, the price might rise above today’s R1 resistance level and even reach 16030.

Dow Jones Industrial Average

The DJIA index was really volatile yesterday as well. First, the price dropped below the S1 support level and 36070. Then, at the beginning of the American trading session, it started rising. In consequence, the price finished the day a little below 36180.

During today’s Asian trading session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose above today’s R1 resistance level and 36270. Then, in the morning, it started falling. If the buyers don’t generate some serious appetite soon, the price could drop to the Pivot Point today. But if they do, the price might rise above 36300 and even reach today’s R2.
